Fisch Bait and Weather Guide

Many missed bestiary entries are not luck problems. They are bait, weather, time, season, or location-filter problems.

Fast workflow

How to plan a conditioned catch

Use the guide as a checklist before spending rare bait or waiting through a condition window.

  1. Open the bestiary and filter by one location first.
  2. Check bait before weather. Wrong bait can waste the entire window.
  3. Check weather, time, and season together instead of treating them as separate tasks.
  4. Use a rod with enough Max Kg and stability before blaming low odds.

Bait picks

Baits worth planning around

These text notes summarize the bait routes that matter most before exact icons are added.

Very high preferred luckTryhard Worm

Rare target testing where preferred bait matters more than normal lure speed.

Do not waste it on generic farming rows.
High preferred luckTruffle Worm

Kraken, Isonade, goldfish, and other rare target routes in current text data.

Save for routes where the bestiary explicitly points to it.
High preferred luckShark Head

Megalodon-style Ancient Isle routes and heavy shark targets.

Check rod Max Kg before using rare bait on huge fish.
Crate and preferred-luck utilityMagnet

Crate routes and several special entries.

Not every valuable fish needs Magnet; filter by bait first.
Mid-high preferred luckFish Head

Predator or special fish rows such as Fangborn Gar-style targets.

Useful only when the target actually prefers it.
High normal luck in public bait tablesSquid

Winter and heavier fish routes where the bestiary lists Squid.

Normal luck does not replace exact preferred bait.
Common route baitShrimp

Early and mid-game rows such as Manta Ray or Sunken Silverscale-style planning.

Good route bait, not a universal rare-fish answer.
Common condition baitSeaweed

Daytime or starter route rows that list Seaweed.

Cheap bait is still wasted if the time or season is wrong.
Starter route baitBagel

Moosewood, Roslit Bay, and Snowcap-style rows in the current bestiary.

Use for completion, not high-end value chasing.
Starter route baitWorm

Early bestiary rows and basic completion checks.

Move to more specific bait once the target is rare or heavy.
