Fisch Rod Upgrade Planner

Compare Current rod strength, C$ budget, target fish weight, and route goal before buying the next rod. The planner is built for spend-or-hold decisions, not only for ranking the most expensive rod.

Fisch rod upgrade and fishing route planning scene

Fast answer

When should you upgrade a Fisch rod?

Upgrade when the current rod hits a weight wall, fails hard fights, or no longer supports the target route. Hold C$ when the next rod only adds small speed or Luck but does not unlock a new catch pool.

  1. Start with your Current rod, target fish weight, and real C$ budget.
  2. If the target weight exceeds your Max Kg, prioritize a weight-cap upgrade.
  3. If catches escape, prioritize Control and Resilience before pure Luck.
  4. If the current rod already handles the route, save for the next meaningful unlock.

How to read the recommendation

A higher score is only useful when it solves the current blocker. Always compare route availability, Max Kg, and whether the rod will be replaced soon.

  1. Weight wall: target fish weight is above the current rod Max Kg, so Max Kg is the first gate.
  2. Fight wall: fish escape even when the weight cap is fine, so Control and Resilience matter first.
  3. Rare route: bait, weather, time, and location should match before you overpay for Luck.
  4. Budget route: a cheap rod that unlocks the next location can be better than an expensive sidegrade.
