A higher score is only useful when it solves the current blocker. Always compare route availability, Max Kg, and whether the rod will be replaced soon.
- Weight wall: target fish weight is above the current rod Max Kg, so Max Kg is the first gate.
- Fight wall: fish escape even when the weight cap is fine, so Control and Resilience matter first.
- Rare route: bait, weather, time, and location should match before you overpay for Luck.
- Budget route: a cheap rod that unlocks the next location can be better than an expensive sidegrade.
