Shop spending

Fisch Merchants and Shops Guide

Every shop purchase competes with rods, boats, bait, and event prep. Buy when the item unlocks a route; hold C$ when it only feels convenient.

Fisch shop and merchant spending route planning scene

Fast answer

What should you buy first?

For progression, spending order usually starts with the bottleneck: rod stability, route access, travel speed, then optional utility and cosmetics.

  1. Check whether a rod upgrade solves more problems than the shop item.
  2. Check whether a boat saves enough repeated travel time to justify the cost.
  3. Buy limited or rotating offers only when the item has a clear route use.
  4. Delay cosmetics until the current money and rod goals are covered.
